If I Were In Charge The Rules Would Be
Different ! New York: Scholastic Press.2002

Introduction
When I saw this poem I thought to myself, boy do I remember all the different  people I was going to be.The cover of this book is really great the words are upside down.

Extension
Have a narrator start. If  you have more students than verses you can pair them up.You can also think of other funny things you might want to be when you grow up and add them to the poem.
Another fun activity would to be to draw pictures of each of the sentences. When it comes to your turn hold the picture in front as you recite the words.
